Symphony at Eagle's Landing Breaks Ground in Stockbridge, Georgia

ATLANTA, Jan. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Symphony Senior Communities, LLC, an Atlanta-based company specializing in the development and operation of luxury senior housing communities, announces the Phase I groundbreaking for their flagship Symphony at Eagle's Landing Senior Community, located in Eagle's Landing, Stockbridge, Georgia.

Located in a country club residential setting in Eagle's Landing, Symphony will offer inspired living for seniors in strikingly elegant surroundings. The community will rest on 53 acres of beautifully wooded property and contain 189 units with a total of 244,000 square feet of independent residences and amenities, all designed to satisfy the needs and desires of the residents. Symphony will cater to all phases of the senior resident, including independent living, assisted living and memory care services.

With a focus on wellness, Symphony Senior Communities is pleased to have partnered with Emory Healthcare to operate an on-site clinic.The formal groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for mid-March with construction scheduled to be completed within 15 months. Architectural design is provided by THW Design, based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Symphony Senior Communities will create a resort-style experience, including a specially designed spa and indoor pool, as well as, a concert hall. The wellness facilities will include rehabilitation, an indoor pool, medispa and workout studio. The property will provide luxury accommodations, elegant dining options, 24-hour staffing and active social programs. Symphony residents will have golf cart access to the adjoining Eagle's Landing Country Club (2011 Course of the Year by Georgia Golf Course Owners Association). When fully occupied, Symphony anticipates creating more than 500 direct and indirect jobs at their community.

Symphony Senior Communities also has two additional resort-style retirement communities in the planning stages for 2015 - Symphony at Lake Oconee in Georgia and Symphony at The Villages in The Villages, Florida.

Symphony at Eagle's Landing sales and marketing center is expected to open in the spring of 2015.
