SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt., March 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- SymQuest Group, Inc., one of North America's top 150 managed IT services, printer and copier providers as ranked by the CRN Elite 150, and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc., today announced the acquisition of Office Systems.
Office Systems, based in Plattsburgh and Watertown, NY, is a provider of digital office solutions including copiers, document imaging, and printers. The acquisition of Office Systems allows the technology company to leverage the added world-class resources of SymQuest, its 186 technology professionals, and seven branch locations throughout Northern New England and New York.
"We're excited to give our clients the ability to enhance their office capabilities," said Kevin Kehoe, Office Systems' founder. "SymQuest was the obvious choice when seeking new ownership for Office Systems. The company's culture of employee development and vision of innovation and systems is what we need to compete with the changing face of technology."
Existing clients of Office Systems will now have access to award winning IT services and support, comprehensive managed print services and alerting, and a large service organization with 24/7 network support. Clients will also have an array of products and applications to boost their business processes including secure print and storage, network disaster recovery tools, and managed cloud services.
"Office Systems' 29 years of stellar industry experience enriches our document output sales and service offerings for both companies," said Larry Sudbay, President and CEO of SymQuest. "We look forward to supporting Office System's existing clients 100% from day one, and making state of the art IT and document solutions available to every business in Northern New York."
The addition of Office Systems marks SymQuest's fourth acquisition and its first since becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A, Inc., in June, 2015.
