Syncora Capital Assurance Inc. Received and Will Pay Detroit Retirement Systems Funding Trust Claims

NEW YORK, June 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Syncora Holdings Ltd. today announced that its wholly owned, New York financial guarantee insurance subsidiary, Syncora Capital Assurance Inc. (the "Company"), received claims notices on Detroit Retirement Systems Funding Trust 2005 Certificates of Participation Series 2005-A and on Detroit Retirement Systems Funding Trust 2006 Certificates of Participation Series 2006-B. The Company will pay such claims as, when, and in the amounts due, under and in accordance with the terms of its insurance policies. The Company continues to assess the situation in Detroit, Michigan.
