From distance learners, high-school students, military personnel and adults pursuing professional and environmental certifications, the College of Continuing Studies and its allied programs serve a growing, diverse student population. By enhancing its Websites, the College felt it could more effectively engage and enroll students, and turned to Systems Alliance for help because of its experience working with both online and traditional brick and mortar universities.
Beginning with the creation of a new information architecture, Systems Alliance consultants redesigned and integrated the school's Websites into a unified visual design aligned with the overall University of Alabama brand. New sites for the College of Continuing Studies and its divisions of Academic Outreach, Professional Development and Training, Environmental and Occupational Safety and The Bryant Conference Center were then deployed on Systems Alliance's SiteExecutive™ Web content management system (CMS), which is being hosted by the University's IT department.
"We've been impressed with the quality and creativity of the Systems Alliance team, they truly excel at higher-ed Web development," said Gary Creek, Executive Communications Manager for the college. "Their expertise with online marketing, information and visual design, Web technology and project management made our redevelopment project a major success."
