With a fresh visual design, intuitive information architecture and mobile friendly content, the new site was developed to help the Mount more effectively engage prospective students.

Prior to the redesign project, Mount St. Mary's had been a Systems Alliance client for three years – the Mount's Web team migrated their .Net Web content management system to a SaaS instance of SiteExecutive™ in 2008. Although the Mount had been using SiteExecutive to manage content, its old website, which Systems Alliance did not design, had become out-of-date and hard to navigate.
To address the Mount's requirements for a more intuitive and engaging visitor experience, Systems Alliance provided the following services:
- Usability consulting, resulting in re-engineered information architecture and navigation
- Visual design aligned with the university's brand standards
- Site build out in SiteExecutive, including development of mobile-friendly templates that adapt site content for display on mobile devices
