Systems Alliance Wins 2011 WebAward for Flagler College Website

HUNT VALLEY, Md., Sept. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Systems Alliance, a Web and IT consulting firm helping clients build, assess and optimize online properties, today announced it had received a 2011 Web Marketing Association WebAward for a website it designed and developed for Flagler College.

Now in its 15th year, the 2011 WebAward competition attracted over 2,000 sites from 45 countries in 96 industry categories. Entries were judged on design, copy writing, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation, and use of technology.

The Web Marketing Association recognized the Flagler site "For Outstanding Achievement in Web Development," for which it received an Education Standard of Excellence award. Judges identified several factors that made the Flagler site stand out, including:

• Overall design
• User experience and ease of use
• Content

As a practical matter, since launching the site late last year, Flagler has experienced a record 200 percent increase in admissions applications. School officials have also reported increasing traffic to sections of the site targeted to their primary audience – prospective students.
