T-Rex Capital Group, The Privately Held Real Estate Investment Firm, Names Christopher McKenna Managing Director

BOCA RATON, Fla., Jan. 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- T-Rex Capital Group LLC, the privately held real estate investment firm, proudly announces the hiring of Christopher McKenna as Managing Director.  McKenna's responsibilities will include growing the platform, capitalization, sourcing new deals and in charge of investments.

Prior to T-Rex, McKenna was founding partner of Center Street Capital Partners, an opportunistic real estate investment and advisory firm, specializing in joint-ventures and direct equity investments in reposition opportunities and development projects.  Before this McKenna was with Lehman Brothers for 15 years, most recently as a Senior Vice President in the Global Real Estate Group.  Mr. McKenna is a CPA and has a Bachelor of Science from St. Bonaventure University.

While at Lehman Brothers from 2000 to 2008 Mr. McKenna originated more than $2.5 billion of combined first mortgage, mezzanine and equity investments in over 170 real estate transactions throughout the United States.  These transactions included operating and development properties comprised of multifamily, condominium, retail, office, and hospitality assets.  He also aggressively managed existing properties in the Lehman Brothers portfolio, including the direct oversight of construction and sales for multiple projects on the firm's balance sheet (over 1,000 residential units).
