Six initial vehicles were purchased by Parque Arauco, one of Chile's largest shopping mall companies with properties in Chile, Argentina, Columbia and Peru. The T3 ESVs have been used for parking structure security initiatives since their delivery in March. The T3 ESVs' quick response time, zero degree turning radius and high platform allow for efficient and effective use in busy parking structures.
The T3 ESV is known for providing significant advantages to public safety agencies including a strong command presence, visibility over crowds for the rider, a zero-degree turning radius, and a configuration that allows movement through crowds and tight spaces such as walkways and elevators.
“Chile is a burgeoning market for our personal ESVs, and this shipment is the continuation of our global deployment strategy,” stated Ki Nam, T3 Motion CEO. “Over the past two years we have seen significant growth in our international business, increasing brand recognition and taking on new markets. Just this year we have successfully established distribution agreements in seven different countries. Our deployment in Chile is perfect application for our product, and we look forward to a long and successful partnership.”
Upon purchase of the vehicles, Ana Maria Malaga, General Manager of Chilean distributor Telestop, remarked, "We are proud to help Chile join other Latin American countries in clean energy initiatives. Chile is showing a great interest in joining the mission for a cleaner planet, and cost-effective, zero-emission security vehicles are a good way to work towards this goal."
On November 29th, T3 Motion is scheduled to co-sponsor an event to launch the sale of T3 Series ESV's in Chile. The event will have law enforcement agencies, politicians, journalists, and major security companies in attendance. With this shipment, Chile joins Argentina as the second South American country to sell T3 Series vehicles. The T3 Series ESVs are sold in 30 countries worldwide.
