Tanger Prices $250 Million 3.875% Senior Notes Due 2023

GREENSBORO, N.C., Nov. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Tanger Factory Outlet Centers, Inc. (NYSE: SKT), announced today that its operating partnership, Tanger Properties Limited Partnership, has agreed to sell $250 million of 3.875% senior notes due 2023 in an underwritten public offering through Jefferies, US Bancorp, Wells Fargo Securities and BofA Merrill Lynch as joint book-running managers. The notes were priced at 98.360% of the principal amount to yield 4.076% to maturity. The notes will pay interest semi-annually at a rate of 3.875% per annum and mature on December 1, 2023. Closing of the sale of the notes is expected to occur on November 25, 2013.

The estimated net proceeds from the offering, after deducting the underwriting discount and offering expenses, are expected to be approximately $243.5 million. Tanger intends to use the net proceeds from the sale of the notes to repay borrowings under its unsecured lines of credit.
