Tarter Farm and Ranch Equipment Signs Landmark Agreement With Feraboli Equipment

DUNNVILLE, Ky., Sept. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Tarter Farm and Ranch Equipment, Dunnville, KY announces that it has reached an agreement with Feraboli Equipment, Cremona, Italy to make and distribute selected equipment for Feraboli and its U.S. based customers.  Feraboli is a 130-year-old Italian company making some of the top agricultural equipment in the industry.  Tarter is a 66-year-old company based in Dunnville that has grown into one of the largest 3-point equipment manufacturers and distributors in the nation.

Under the terms of the agreement, Feraboli will provide its proprietary technologies and knowledge on selected product lines to Tarter for manufacture here in the United States and distribution to Tarter and Feraboli customers throughout the U.S.

Tarter is currently completing a $3MM expansion in facilities and equipment in their heavy ag division.   This expansion, along with this and other agreements, will lead to the creation of over 75 jobs in their Liberty, KY plant, which manufactures 3-point equipment, skid-steer attachments, snow removal equipment, construction equipment, and cattle-handling equipment.
