TASA Group Voted "Best Expert Witness Provider" in New York Law Journal Reader Rankings

BLUE BELL, Pa., Sept. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- For the third consecutive year, The TASA Group, Inc. The New York Law Journal Reader Rankings are not a scientific survey or an editorial analysis, but a democracy. The voting was conducted via online ballot, with results compiled by the sales and marketing teams of the New York Law Journal.  Readers were notified of the ballot through direct emails and online advertisements linking to the ballot across American Lawyer Media's network of websites.  The ballot consisted of 63 categories encompassing the areas of Technology, Research, Accounting, Insurance, Financial Services, Litigation Support, Real Estate, Education, Recruiting and Staffing.  In total, over 365 firms were listed on the official online ballot, and voters were also given the option of writing in any firms not listed; approximately 300 firms received votes via the write-in option.  This year, over 6,800 people cast votes for their favorite vendors, surpassing last year's totals by over 50%.  Only legitimate end users (attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants etc.) were allowed to vote. The producers took great pains to ensure the voting was fair. The vote of any non-attorney or non-legal-professional (or anyone who could not be validated as a legitimate end user) was disqualified.  Ultimately, the goal was to make the ballot and the voting as inclusive as possible.
