"TASC's role is to ensure that the launch vehicle does what it is supposed to do," says John Brennan, vice president of TASC's Air Force business unit. "What matters most is that the efforts of the entire launch team, and particularly the hard work of our TASC rocket engineers, have culminated in continued success for our military partners."
The TASC team provided mission assurance support to the Juno target design, integration test and launch. In addition, TASC engineers coordinated and oversaw the refurbishment of Minuteman II motors for use on the Juno vehicle. Other TASC specialists provided independent validation and verification of Juno flight software as well as mission risk assessments to the Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) and flight-readiness review to the SMC Commander. With the flight now complete, TASC will deliver an independent post-flight analysis.
