CHANTILLY, Va., June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- TASC, Inc. (TASC) announced today that it has named Wayne M. Rehberger, AGE, vice president and chief financial officer, effective June 28, 2010.

As chief financial officer, Rehberger will be responsible for the company's overall business management function and activities including the controller; treasury; contracts, pricing and supply chain; financial planning; tax; program control; investor relations; trust administration and investments; facilities; and financial process excellence functions. He will also provide leadership to the business management organizations within the company's four business units.
Rehberger joins TASC from XO Holdings, formerly XO Communications, a facilities-based telecommunications services provider, where he served as chief operating officer since 2004. He also served as chief financial officer for both XO Communications and Nextel Communications. Previously he was affiliated with MCI Communications where he held several broad financial roles including senior vice president of finance. Rehberger began his corporate career with the KPMG consulting business in Washington, D.C., where he worked primarily with U.S. government agencies and defense contractors.
Rehberger also served for ten years in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Captain. He earned a Masters in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from Bucknell University.
