Tasos Chatzimichailidis, 53, is the new CEO of the InsurTech wefox, with immediate effect. He succeeds Julian Teicke, who a few weeks ago announced he was starting up the insurance company ONE and has become CEO of the wefox holding company.
Tasos Chatzimichailidis is an internationally experienced insurance executive and entrepreneur. He founded a highly successful broker network in the U.S. and has been responsible for Global Sales, Marketing and Transformation in Europe, the U.S., Asia and Australia for over 15 years with Allianz Group.
CEO Julian Teicke is delighted to have Chatzimichailidis onboard, whom he considers the ideal blend of startup entrepreneur and manager: "Tasos will be able to leverage the wealth of experience he has accumulated over many years to work with the wefox team on building wefox into a global player."
