(NYSE: TCO) today announced the opening of Taubman Prestige Outlets, a new fashion outlet center, located in the western-St. Louis suburb of Chesterfield. The opening coincides with Missouri's Tax Free Weekend and heralds a new era in lifestyle shopping for the region. Thousands lined up to receive a free $25 gift card which was given to the first 1,000 shoppers.

To commemorate the grand opening, Taubman presented $10,000 donations to the Humane Society of Missouri and Cardinal Glennon Children's Foundation. In addition, $25,000 was presented to the City of Chesterfield to commemorate its 25th Anniversary.
