Taylor Waag of Crystal, Minn. Wins College Scholarship from ACA International Education Foundation

MINNEAPOLIS, July 25, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Crystal, Minn. resident Taylor Waag has been awarded a $1,000 Loomer-Mortenson scholarship by the ACA International Education Foundation, the association of credit and collection professionals.

Waag, a graduate of Armstrong High School will study photography at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.  "Congratulations to Taylor as she continues her post-secondary studies and prepares for her future," said ACA Foundation Chair Chris Wunder.

The Loomer-Mortenson Scholarship is offered to college-bound credit and debt collection professionals and their dependent children.  Three winners are selected each year from essays submitted by students, which are reviewed and scored by the Foundation's Board of Directors. Waag's essay about the importance of financial management in preparation for college qualified her for a third place finish.
