TBSS International, Inc. Installs Dock Piling Neon Lighting in Launch of Brand Awareness Campaign
Company's Turtle Light to Target Beachfront Property Lighting Requirements; Installations on Coasts of California, South Carolina, Florida, New York and Georgia
TAMPA, Fla., Jan. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- TBSS International, Inc. (OTCQB: TBSS.OB), an international service company with service contracts in gold mining, oil drilling, water well drilling, trenching and construction and energy efficient lighting, announced today the initiation of a concerted marketing campaign introducing the Turtle Light for public beaches, beachfront residential and commercial properties and marinas. The company's proprietary neon lighting technology has attracted the attention of municipal authorities, in addition to hotel properties and condo associations challenged with the need to provide lighting for security and safety reasons, but still compliant with the Turtle Conservation Lighting Regulations.
Todd Spinelli, CEO of TBSS International, said, "The market for energy efficient lighting which are in compliance with the Turtle Conservation Coastal Lighting Regulations is a larger market than most realize in the investment world. U.S. statutes protect sea turtle nesting sites and therefore require strict adherence to lighting limitations. Balancing the need for lighting in beach areas for security and safety concerns, the requirement for 'turtle compliant' standards and energy efficiency is a tall order for owners and managers of coastal properties. TBSS's neon lighting meets all three demands. Our dock piling lighting uses six watts of energy per fixture--an increasingly important benefit as energy costs rise."
Spinelli continued, "TBSS's lighting is currently installed on the coasts of California, New York, Florida, South Carolina and Georgia and, consequently, has generated a great deal of interest and inquiries from condo associations, property management firms and property owners. We look forward to presenting TBSS's Turtle Lights to these potential clients in 2012."
TBSS International believes that its neon lighting provides a long awaited energy efficient solution, and believes that its lighting system is the only light in the marketplace that turtles barely discern and thereby does not interfere with their natural instinct to nest on the beaches. If TBSS' pilot program is successful, the company will have the opportunity to gain a significant market share for installations on beach property.
As announced earlier, TBSS will be manufacturing the energy efficient neon lighting in the Pensacola, FL and/or Coco Beach area and has plans to open additional facilities across the country. Initial expectations are for 1,000 employees for marketing and manufacturing positions.
