TCDI® Named by Court in World Trade Center Disaster Site Litigation
TCDI is chosen a second time as the litigation technology partner to centrally manage data associated with the World Trade Center Disaster Site Litigation
GREENSBORO, N.C., Sept. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- TCDI® a market leader in litigation support solutions for eDiscovery and litigation case management, announced today it has been selected by the Court to manage, and provide access to, data associated with the World Trade Center Disaster Site Litigation – 21 MC 102.
The Special Masters to this litigation, Aaron D. Twerski (Professor of Law, Brooklyn Law School) and James A. Henderson, Jr. (Professor of Law, Cornell Law School) made the recommendation of TCDI in consultation with the Defense and Plaintiff Liaison Counsel.
The order naming TCDI was issued in United States District Court, Southern District of New York by U.S. District Judge, Alvin K. Hellerstein. In his order, Judge Hellerstein listed TCDI's effective service in the 21 MC 100 Master Calendar, its overall reliability, and its responsiveness to the requests of counsel for the parties, the Special Masters and the Court, as the reasons it was the presumptive choice.
"We are once again honored to have been selected as the technology partner for this litigation," said TCDI President Bill Johnson. "We're proud of the ongoing role we've played and look forward to providing a high level of continued service to all parties involved."
TCDI will immediately begin working with Defense and Plaintiff Liaison Counsel to bring this new database online in time to meet the deadline requirements for information set by the Court.
