TDIA Displays the Latest Development Achievements of TD-LTE in Geneva

BEIJING, Oct. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- ITU Telecom World 2011 hosted by ITU will be held in Palexpo, Geneva, Switzerland, from October 24th to October 27th. ITU Telecom World is one of the grand global information and communication exhibitions with the highest level and the largest scale, attracting all stakeholders from across the sector and around the world for a truly global, world-class event and networking platform. TD Industry Alliance will participate in this event to vigorously promote the regulatory agencies and operators to better understand the latest development of TD-LTE industry as well as the frequency band permission and marketing applications in overseas market.

TDIA booth is located at 5020 in hall 4-5, Palexpo, covering 171.95 square meters. TDIA booth will demonstrate the latest achievements of international TD-LTE industry chain, including the composition of international TD-LTE industry chain, TD-LTE standard and product development planning, TD-LTE global commercial distribution, TD-LTE system, chipsets, instruments, antenna and terminals, etc. Besides, TDIA booth also sets a TD-LTE terminal wall and a special unit for TD-LTE core chips to promote the regulatory agencies and operators' focus and understanding, creating a favorable condition for TD expansion overseas.

Meanwhile, TD-LTE Technology and Spectrum Workshop, hosted by ITU, organized by MIIT, TDIA and China Mobile, will be convened at Room LabSpace 4 in Palexpo on 25th October, from 9:00 to 11:10 during ITU Telecom World 2011. Coming prior to ITU's World Radiocommunication Conference in 2012, and the upcoming ITU-R detailed specifications on IMT-Advanced 4G technologies, expected in early 2012, this workshop also provides an ideal opportunity for Chinese communication industry stakeholders and global partners to discuss TD-LTE as a candidate technology of IMT-advanced 4G standard. This workshop is dedicated for global regulators on the optimal allocation of unpaired spectrum to address the key challenges in maximizing efficiency of unpaired spectrum by using TD-LTE technology and TD-LTE spectrum planning.
