Jennifer Prisco Named to Top Ten Industry List for Second Year

(NYSE: TEL), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, announced today that Jennifer Prisco, senior counsel to TE's Global Supply Chain, was recognized for a second year on Assent Compliance's list of the Top 100 Conflict Mineral Influence Leaders. Prisco was grouped this year in the top ten among leaders from global companies, human rights activists and government officials. She has led TE's Conflict Minerals Program since 2009 and oversees the company's Supplier Social Responsibility Program.

Conflict minerals include cassiterite (for tin), wolframite (for tungsten), coltan (for tantalite), and gold ore or their derivatives determined to be mined in areas of armed conflict or human rights abuses, or used to finance conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and adjoining countries.
