TeamHealth Partners with Carena Inc., to Launch Virtual Staffing Program
KNOXVILLE, Tenn., June 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- TeamHealth Holdings Inc. (NYSE: TMH), a leading provider of outsourced physician staffing solutions for hospitals, today announced a strategic partnership with Carena Inc., a Seattle, Washington-based telemedicine solutions company.
Through this strategic partnership, TeamHealth will use Carena's technology-enabled virtual delivery system for TeamHealth-affiliated physicians to provide real-time, two-way communication and staffing for TeamHealth-affiliated advanced practice clinicians at a different location. TeamHealth will implement the virtual clinical staffing program for three of its service lines: Urgent Care, Hospital Medicine and Emergency Medicine.
