
Teamsters Ratify Three-Year Contract with Allied Waste Services of Massachusetts
REVERE, Mass., July 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Allied Waste Services today announced that employees represented by Teamsters Local 25 ratified a new three-year agreement covering 85 Boston area professional drivers and mechanics. The previous agreement expired at 11:59 p.m. June 30.
The new agreement provides annual wage increases, continues existing Health and Welfare benefits at current employee contribution levels and maintains existing pension benefits with the option to change to an alternate plan during the term of the agreement. In addition, the new contract recognizes company policies regarding safety and productivity, and institutes a new attendance policy.
