Technomedia Elevates Mohegan Sun's Famed Water Wall

UNCASVILLE, Ct., June 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Technomedia Solutions announced the recent completion of the enhancements to Mohegan Sun's Casino of the Wind WaterWall at the Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut. The 65' x 35' multimedia centerpiece to the newest expansion portion, the Casino of the Wind, combines an elegant black granite water wall along with HD video projection mapping and LED lighting in synchronization, creating a breathtaking experience for its guests.

The creators of the original project several years ago, Technomedia has had a long-term relationship with the Casino and its designers, David Rockwell and David Mexico. Recently, Technomedia installed four new Christie DLP 16k projectors that employ warp and twist along with head end processing mapping to create a massive, seamless image that displays media content the Company custom produced for the project. The head end is powered by the Green Hippo Grasshopper that allows full 4k HD feeds from multiple media layers.  The GrandMA Instant Replay is the brains of the control that John Miceli and Mark Butts masterfully designed; the 3-hour randomizing show keeps the experience fresh and beautiful at all times. In addition, new "smart" AMX controls were implemented to monitor, report and automate back up functions keeping the systems running 24/7 without fail. Technomedia designed and installed a military quality lift system they custom designed with Mainstage Theatrical Supply that raises and lowers the complex system for easy access and service.
