TechTeam Global Provides Wide Ranging Point of Sale and Back Office Help Desk Support for Leading Restaurant Chain
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Feb. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TechTeam Global, Inc., (Nasdaq: TEAM), a worldwide provider of information technology (IT) outsourcing and business process outsourcing services, announced today that it has launched a 24x7 help desk service for a major restaurant chain. The 36-month contract will include support for more than 6,000 sites, once all participating locations are migrated.
TechTeam is providing a "Unified Service Desk" (USD) that delivers around-the-clock support, with a particular emphasis on the client's peak business hours of 4 a.m. to noon. The USD serves as a single point of contact for all hardware and software issues across point of sale, menu management, back office, network connectivity, credit and gift card processing, and video protection systems.
Services are initially being provided to approximately 3,200 corporate and franchise locations, with plans to add approximately 250 locations per month to the program. Support and administration/enrollment services will be provided by agents based in TechTeam's Southfield, Mich., headquarters, using CA Service Desk tools and a self-service Web portal.
