TECT Power Names Anthony Smith as VP Sales and Marketing

FT. MITCHELL, Ky., March 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- TECT Power, Inc., a worldwide supplier of rotating components and assemblies for turbine engines for aviation and industrial applications, announced today that Anthony Smith has been named vice president sales and marketing for TECT Power.

Prior to joining TECT Power, Smith worked for BAE Systems in business development. He has experience with a number of other major aerospace companies including Gulfstream, Rolls-Royce, General Electric and Timken.

"As a seasoned aerospace industry veteran, Tony Smith brings an in-depth knowledge of sales, marketing, customer service and operations to TECT Power," said President Rob Cohen. Smith attended the University of New Mexico where he received a Bachelor of Arts in English. While serving in a leadership position at GE, he attended numerous leadership courses including an executive education course at the University of Michigan on strategic planning. In addition, he obtained his Six Sigma Green Belt. Smith will be relocating to the TECT Power office in Cincinnati.

Smith will succeed Doug Schoulthies, who will take the position of director of contracts and compliance. Schoulthies has spent most of the last few years traveling extensively and working with customers. He will assist Smith to ensure a smooth transition over the next few months prior to assuming his new position.
