Telanetix Launches Teleworker Marketing Channel with Beneplace
Leading business communications solutions provider teams with Voluntary Benefits management firm to capture growing Business Market Segment
BELLEVUE, Wash., Jan. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Telanetix, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: TNXI), a leading communications solutions provider offering next generation voice services and solutions to the business market, today announced the launch of a new channel targeting the fast growing Teleworker segment of the business communications marketplace. Partnering with Beneplace, the leading provider of Voluntary Benefits packages and solutions supporting Fortune 50 companies, Telanetix has initiated advertising campaigns to these employees that offer customized services that uniquely meet their needs. The campaigns will grow in number and frequency over the coming two quarters.
Telanetix has launched this campaign with Beneplace to share in the financial and productivity benefits realized by peer companies such as Cisco Systems. According to the CTA Teleworker research organization, in June 2009 Cisco announced that Cisco employees telework two days per week and report higher productivity during telework, which equates to annual savings of $277 million. Over 90 percent of those surveyed said that telecommuting is "somewhat or very important" to their overall satisfaction. In addition, telework prevented almost 50,000 metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions and teleworkers report a fuel cost savings of $10.3 million per year due to telecommuting.
"Given the current economic realities, businesses are looking to both increase productivity and reduce costs," said Doug Johnson, CEO of Telanetix. "Our innovative communications technology has been proven to facilitate more telecommuting and provide the opportunity for a significant positive impact to an organization's bottom line. The advanced technology and functionality embedded in our Home Office Phone Service fields a powerful telecommunications solution that allows for a robust and reliable teleworking option."
"Our goal is to provide measurable benefits to our business customers and their employees, contractors, and partners," said Michael Butcher, Senior Vice President of Beneplace. "We believe that the services Telanetix provides offer a compelling value that will help transform our customers' business structure into a more efficient, profitable model. We are excited by the campaign and look forward to growing this effort in the coming months."
