TeleTracking Helps South Nassau Automate Patient Flow

PITTSBURGH, May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- South Nassau Communities Hospital of Oceanside, NY, has selected the Capacity Management Suite™ powered by TeleTracking XT™ from TeleTracking Technologies, Inc. (www.teletracking.com) to maintain smooth patient flow and maximize existing capacity in the face of a growing patient population base.

The 435-bed hospital is home to one of the busiest emergency rooms on Long Island, averaging nearly 60,000 patient visits per year.  The Level II trauma center houses 35 private patient treatment spaces as well as an intra-departmental high speed CT-scan and x-ray facility, Pediatric Emergency Room, Psychiatric Emergency Room and neonatal intensive care unit.
