Temple Athletics Partners With the DiFebo Company to Bolster Ticket Sales and Customer Service

PHILADELPHIA, June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- www.difebocompany.com -- The Temple University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has partnered with The DiFebo Company, LLC to bolster its ticket sales and customer support for its highly-successful Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) football team and its nationally regarded men's and women's basketball teams.

The DiFebo Company, LLC has provided consulting services to a number of athletic departments around the country, including schools in the Big Ten, SEC, Big East, and Sun Belt conferences. His innovative in-house ticket sales model was implemented at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Ala. and exceeded $1 million in new ticket and fundraising revenue in its first full year of operation.

Prior to launching his company in 2009, DiFebo utilized his ticket sales and customer support model at UCF where he helped football season-ticket sales increase by over 13,000 at its peak and $4.5 million in annual ticket revenue. His proactive model also produced over $3 million in additional donations to the UCF Athletic Association since 2005. His pioneering efforts and track record of unprecedented success has ignited an emerging trend that is revolutionizing collegiate athletics ticket sales and fan relations.

The new initiative will utilize an in-house sales and fan relations team of 6-12 "personal account representatives" led by on-site General Manager, Chris Bain who was hired from Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) in Los Angeles.

Temple Athletics is coming off arguably its most successful year in its history.  Temple earned a trip to its first bowl game, competing in the EagleBank Bowl, while both its men's and women's basketball teams earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament.  Temple is one of only six NCAA Division I institutions to have its men's and women's basketball teams compete in each of the last three NCAA Championships.  Of those six, Temple is one of only four schools to also have its football team compete in a Bowl during that time frame.
