Tempur-Pedic Announces the TEMPUR®-Contour Collection

LEXINGTON, Ky., Jan. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Tempur-Pedic International Inc. (NYSE: TPX), the leading manufacturer, marketer and distributor of premium mattresses and pillows worldwide, today unveiled the new TEMPUR®-Contour Collection of mattresses, designed to provide unmatched contouring support and pressure-relieving comfort for consumers with firm and medium-firm sleep preferences. Developed through extensive R&D and consumer testing, the new Collection complements the TEMPUR®-Cloud Collection and the TEMPUR®-HD Collection to offer consumers a Tempur-Pedic bed for every comfort preference.

The new TEMPUR®-Contour Collection features three beds: the TEMPUR®-Contour, TEMPUR®-Contour Select and TEMPUR®-Contour Signature.  Each features Tempur-Pedic's proprietary TEMPUR® Comfort Layer that gently conforms to your back for a personalized fit that relieves pressure points. Below the TEMPUR Comfort Layer, a firmer TEMPUR® Support Layer reacts to your shape to provide support for your whole body night after night. Luxurious and washable covers with reinforced corner accents wrap both layers to provide a comfortable, welcoming and hypo-allergenic sleep surface.
