GREENSBORO, N.C., April 2, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Tencarva Machinery Company ("Tencarva"), the Southeast's premier value-added distributor and service provider of flow control and process equipment solutions to industrial and municipal end-markets, announced today that it has acquired Atlantic Valve & Equipment ("Atlantic Valve"). Atlantic Valve is a manufacturer's representative for leading valve brands serving the municipal and industrial water/wastewater markets of Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, Washington, D.C. and West Virginia. Tencarva is backed by Bessemer Investors, LLC ("Bessemer"), a New York-based investment firm. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Richmond, VA, Atlantic Valve provides gate valves, butterfly valves, plug valves, hydraulic/electric control valves, and ductile iron fabrications and fittings, from brands such as Kennedy Valve, Clow Valve, M&H Valve, ITT Fabri, Onyx Valve, Ross Valve, McWane Ductile, Tyler Union and Clearwater Manufacturing. Atlantic Valve's management team will continue in their roles under Tencarva.
