HERNDON, Va., Oct. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- MicroPact, Inc., the global leader in Data-First™ Case Management and Business Process Management (BPM) software, today announced that the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance (DCI) successfully deployed Versa: Regulation and Versa: Online for Renewals, completing the first phase of an enterprise-wide upgrade of the state agency's Regulatory Board System (RBS).
DCI originally selected MicroPact (formerly Iron Data) in 2013 based on the company's more than 20 years of experience and unmatched in subject matter expertise delivering licensing and enforcement solutions to state agencies.

The new regulatory management system will allow DCI to track all licensing, renewal, enforcement and compliance activities for a diverse range of businesses and professions. The agency will use the system to manage 35 regulatory boards representing a wide variety of industries including cosmetology, accounting, contracting and real estate, with a total of 120 types of professional licenses.
