SAN DIEGO, Oct. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Teradata Corp. (NYSE: TDC), the big data analytics and marketing applications company today announced Teradata Cloud for Hadoop, an integrated cloud offering that will make it easier for companies to explore the uses and business value of Hadoop.

More than 70 percent of U.S. chief information officers recently surveyed report they are uncertain about how to deploy Hadoop in their organizations.  By utilizing Teradata Cloud, companies can be up and running quickly with a flexible cost approach, and tools to help load, administer, and manage Hadoop.

4. Optional tools for smart loading and bi-directional data movement between Hadoop, the Teradata Database, and the Teradata Aster Discovery Platform
5. Optional services for Hadoop development, Managed Services, and training
