Terra Holdings Launches First NYC-Based Residential Real Estate Apps For Apple Watch And iPhone iOS

NEW YORK, July 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Terra Holdings, one of America's largest privately-held real estate services companies and the parent company of Brown Harris Stevens and Halstead Property, has announced today that it has launched the first residential real estate apps on the Apple Watch and iPhone for Brown Harris Stevens and Halstead Property respectively. Each app will allow buyers and their partner a uniquely personal and collaborative search experience. Featuring residential properties in the areas and towns where they specialize, Brown Harris Stevens' app will cover New York City, the Hamptons, and Palm Beach, Florida. Halstead Property's app will cover New York City, the Hamptons, Hudson Valley, New Jersey and Connecticut.  More than 100,000 properties can be found on these Apple Watch and iPhone apps.

The two apps will offer users the option to link their profiles with a partner of their choice.  After selecting specific property features, smart collaboration tools will make it easy for the pair to communicate privately, share listings and receive personalized recommendations from their broker. The apps also offers a unique collaboration tool in which a property that is marked as a favorite by one partner will receive a half-heart icon that can only be made whole when both partners agree on the same potential home.  Each property can be viewed on their Apple Watch and iPhone with an array of photos including a map view and floor plan.
