The 2010 Amazing Roswell UFO Festival is On and Going Strong

ROSWELL, N.M., June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- The City of Roswell is more excited than ever to welcome visitors from throughout the universe to the 2010 Amazing Roswell UFO Festival. The annual festival is on and going strong!

New to the festival is the first annual Aliens in Cinema Film Festival, in partnership with the New Mexico Film Office and ENMU-R.  The film festival includes:

Come see a unique tale that connects a shack in South Louisiana's Atchafalaya Basin to the lost island of Atlantis and its sister city Lunopolis on the lunar surface. July 1 – 4 at 2pm at the Roswell Adult and Senior Center.

Ghosts & Graveyards

Participate in a new series that chronicles traveling adventures as crew search some of the most mysterious places on earth. July 2 and 3 at 10am at the Roswell Adult and Senior Center.


Produced and written by Robert Miles, this award-winning feature length documentary features 35 of the world's leading experts and witnesses.  Attend the red-carpet premiere on July 2 at 7pm at Galaxy 8 Theaters.

Roswell: The UFO Cover-Up

Produced by Paul Davids, this television production features flashbacks that follow the attempts of Major Jesse Marcel to discover the truth about strange debris found on a local rancher's field in July of 1947. 9:30pm on Sunday, July 4, at Cielo Grande Park.

Inside Secret Government Warehouses: Shocking Revelations

A premiere screening of this two-hour Syfy investigative special will take place at the 2010 Amazing UFO Festival.  The documentary focuses on the astounding findings of an anthropologist who analyzes a skeletal relic connected to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.  Also included is footage supposedly smuggled out of an Extraterrestrial Biological Entity (EBE) at Area 51.

Movies Under the Stars

ENMU-R's Film Technician Training Program presents Movies Under the Stars at the Roswell Convention and Visitors Bureau.  Transformers II at 9:30pm on Friday, July 2, or Star Wars at 9:30pm on Saturday, July 3.  Free to the public.

Also new this year is the first Alien BBQ & Brew, an IBCA-sanctioned event featuring great barbecue and Roswell Alien Ale from Sierra Blanca Brewery.
