This popular and anticipated event helps bring much-needed visibility to the pervasive issue of hunger in New York City," said Dr. Lucy Cabrera, Ph.D., President and CEO of the Food Bank For New York City. "As the Food Bank currently faces detrimental government budget cuts, the funds raised by this event will go a long way to assist New Yorkers in need in the months ahead." Proceeds from last year's event provided more than 227,500 meals for New York City residents in need.
Restaurants participating in this year's event include Bistro de la Gare, Chinese Mirch, Deluge at the Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel, Elsewhere, Ivy Bakery, Miss Korea BBQ, O Lavrador and Veselka.
