The 7th China Software Export and Service Outsourcing Ranking List: Heading to China's Prime

In regards to software, the business income was RMB 75.1 billion in 2001 and RMB 1,336.4 billion in 2010, which reflects a 17.8 times enlargement in terms of industry scale; the export amount was USD 720 million in 2001 and USD 26.7 billion in 2010, reflecting 30 times expansion; as for industry employees, the number in 2001 was 250 thousand, but in 2010 this number was over 3 million. In regards to service outsourcing, as of the end of 2010, the number of registered service outsourcing enterprises was over ten thousand, and the number of enterprises that have offshore exchange settlement records was over three thousand. In 2010, with the year-on-year growth of 36.1%, the income of China's onshore service outsourcing was RMB 238.12 billion. And based on this rapid development, with the year-on-year growth of 43%, the income of China's offshore service outsourcing was USD 14.45 billion.
