Participants, from 13 countries along the Belt and Road, started their journey and interview in Yanqing to demonstrate Beijing image and convey China's voice to the world.

The activity of 2019 "China Now: Silk Road Rediscovery Tour of Beijing Upon the 70^th Anniversary of the PRC" is hosted by Information Office of Beijing Municipality, and will last to August 23. Xu Hejian, Deputy Director of Publicity Department of Beijing Municipal Party Committee and Director of Information Office of People's Government of Beijing Municipality, Ye Dahua, Deputy Director-General of Expo's Coordination Bureau, and Zang Julin, President of the CRI Online, attended the launching ceremony and delivered speeches. Lv Qin, Deputy Director of Media and Communications Department of the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee, and Huang Keying, Director of the Publicity Depart of the CPC Yanqing District Committee attended the ceremony.
