The Antenna Company International Adds VP of Production Operations Thomas Wilhelm to the Management Team

The Antenna Company International, the company that has reopened the field of antennas through the power of SuperShaped antenna technology, today announced it has hired a new Vice President of Production Operations: Thomas Wilhelm (59). Having proven the manufacturability of its technology, The Antenna Company is now moving into a phase of rapid growth, in response to high demand for its antenna systems. In support of this next phase, The Antenna Company has added Thomas Wilhelm to the team.
Thomas will be responsible for the company's day-to-day manufacturing-related activities, including supply chain, quality control, purchasing, and management of 3rd party suppliers and contract manufacturers. Thomas's career spans more than 25 years in the industry and he is a specialist in polymer materials and processing, including materials for electrical and electronic applications. He will be based in Antenna Company's office in Eindhoven, Holland.
Thomas Wilhelm received his Diploma (M.Sc.) in Chemistry and his Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Science in 1981 and 1986, respectively, both from the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany. He graduated with an MBA from the University of Toronto, Canada in 1998. During his professional career he served in various senior management functions for BLANCO GmbH + Co KG (Oberderdingen, Germany), Weidmann Plastics Technology GmbH (Rapperswil, Switzerland), Ensinger GmbH (Nufringen, Germany) and Forteq Group (Nidau, Switzerland).
Thomas is a specialist in polymer materials and processing, including materials for electrical and electronic applications. He (co)authored 8 international publications and 17 patents - mostly in the field of polymers and their properties. If not at work, he is running marathons, climbing mountains or sailing the Adriatic Sea. He loves good food and is a WSET certified wine expert.
