The AQT is calling for nominations for the CEO of the Year - Investissement Québec 2012
MONTREAL, Nov. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ - The Quebec Technology Association today issued a call for nominations for the 2012 Investissement Quebec CEO of the Year Award. Since 2003, this annual award has been shining the spotlight on CEOs of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) companies in recognition of their exemplary leadership and outstanding contributions to the visibility of the Quebec ICT industry.
"Investissement Québec is thrilled to support the CEO of the year award. After carefully assessing all nominations, an independent jury comprised of CEOs of ICT companies and representatives of Investissement Québec and the Quebec Technology Association will select three finalists.
"Candidates are assessed on innovation and the scope of their achievements in relation to challenges, the availability of human and financial resources, as well as the company's size. Year after year, they embody our industry's vitality and creativity, as well as the determination and daring of Quebec entrepreneurs", said Nicole Martel, CEO of the Quebec Technology Association.
Finalists receive substantial media attention thanks to the support of Les Affaires, our media partner, helping them gain increased notoriety both for themselves and their businesses.
The three finalists selected by the jury will be invited to present their projects and the winner will be chosen by his peers by way of a secret ballot during the Investissement Quebec CEO of the Year Award Night. This prestigious award will be presented during CEO Vision 2012, an exclusive event for CEOs of Quebec technology companies, to be held from February 22 to 25, 2012. ceovisionpdg.org
