ATLANTA, Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The Atlanta Thrashers of the National Hockey League have selected XCO Springboard, a smartphone application and Content Management Solution for their fans. The Thrashers will now be able to connect directly with their fans to share powerful content and create unique experiences using this mobile technology.

The XCO SportsLink solution includes a wide range of content, analytics, and technology services that will enable the Thrashers organization to create and manage their content so that fans can easily download dynamic applications to their smartphones. All content will be available through a cell carrier or Wi-Fi network connection to a fan's smartphone.

Initially, Thrashers 24/7 will be used by the Thrashers to create an iPhone(TM) "app" which will be available to fans later this season, and will be followed by applications for BlackBerry(TM) and other smartphone platforms in the future.
