The ATLAS Mobile App Makes it Easy to Understand Laws as you Travel from State to State

Laws are ineffective if people do not know what they are and relatively few laws are publicly posted for all to see. When was the last time you traveled out of state and didn't know the local laws? Even keeping track of changing legislation in your home state can be a hassle and lead to unintended tickets or property seizure. This is where ATLAS comes in.

We keep up with laws as soon as they change so you don't have to and push the notification straight to your phone in short, easily digestible summaries as well as giving you access to the full legal text to solidify your understanding of the full law. Users can view the data on any covered law for any state at any time they so desire. Additionally, ATLAS takes the user's preferences and generates a variety of notifications based on those preferences.

The app initially covers 49 subjects within six categories, which are:

• Traffic laws
• Laws governing interactions with law enforcement
• Alcohol laws
• Taxes
• Gun laws
• Marijuana laws

The number of categories and subjects will continually expand over time.  A beta version of ATLAS will be available following the initial fundraiser for contributors interested in participating in order to vet the product under a wide range of operating conditions.
