The Bat! New Features Continue Application's Evolution As A Premium Email Client
PALO ALTO, Calif., Oct. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ritlabs SRL has released a new version of their secure email client, The Bat!, introducing new features, a more user-friendly interface, and AutoCharset for Chinese, Japanese and Korean characters at an optimal level. The upgrades make The Bat! more convenient and secure, and easier to use and navigate, particularly for international use.
Version 6.7 allows for automatic selection of AutoCharset for all characters-Latin and non-Latin. Many characters such as Chinese, Japanese and Korean are not supported at an optimal level by other email clients, though it is necessary for communications with people who speak these languages. The Bat! automatically chooses an optimal character set compatible with existing programs, and also allows users to specify character encoding for a specific recipient.
An additional feature is the "Create New User Account" capability, a time-saver when setting up new accounts. Users now only have to enter their full name, email address and password to create a new account, as the incoming and outgoing server address and ports are fully automatic for most popular email services.
Other upgrades to The Bat! include automatic saving of email addresses in the Address Book from outgoing messages, ability to "Reply to All" when the user selects "Quick Reply," organization of emails in accordance with the parameters of sorting in the message list, exportation of emails in the order that they are sorted in and automatic creation of a destination folder when the user creates a new filter.
This summer, The Bat! became touch screen compatible for Windows Touch technology on desktops, laptops, hybrid devices and Windows 8 tablets. Enhancements to The Bat! within the past year make The Bat! the application of choice for professionals who demand a high level of security in a feature-rich email client.
