MIAMI, Sept. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The time has come to celebrate the little things in life at the Miami Family Event Wellness & Lifestyle Expo to be held at the Fair Expo Center on September 20th - 22nd 2013.

The Miami Family Event was created with the ultimate purpose to provide our community with local social services, health resources, screenings, useful information and tools for all members of the family, teaching them how to acquire the solutions to improve their health & lifestyles. Partnered with the American Heart Association, local companies and non-profit organizations this event was produced with the purpose of helping the community become aware of healthier ways of living and the importance of enjoying time with our families. The Miami Family Event will offer a fun filled weekend with entertainment for the entire family. This Wellness and Lifestyle Expo will feature exciting activities, including free health screenings, CPR classes, healthy cooking demonstrations, and fitness programs for children, adults and seniors.

The American Heart Association is the nation's oldest, largest voluntary organization devoted to fighting cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Admission to the Miami Family Event Wellness & Lifestyle Expo is free to children 12 years old and under, and seniors 65 years and up. Admission is $8.00 to all others 13+, with part of the proceeds benefitting the American Heart Association.
Come see cartoon characters live on stage in our "Kids' World," join the Home Depot children's workshop, or be part of a live talent casting call from TMG Talent and Modeling Agency. Also, teach your children the importance of CPR, live a healthier life and enjoy live entertainment. Meet your favorite sports teams, take pictures with the Miami Heat's 2013 Championship Trophy.
