The City of College Station, Texas, Launched a Partnership with ParkMobile, Offering Contactless Parking Payments

COLLEGE STATION, Texas, Jan. 6, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- ParkMobile, the #1 parking app in the U.S., expanded its services to the City of College Station, TX with a launch in October. Though this is the municipality's first partnership with ParkMobile, the app has been active on the Texas A&M Campus for over seven years. ParkMobile has removed all College Station single-space meters and replaced them with ParkMobile and is available for marked on-street parking spaces throughout the Northgate Entertainment District.

In College Station, there are currently over 47,000 users, though that number is expected to grow with the further integration of College Station. To pay for parking using the mobile or web app, a user enters the zone number posted on nearby signs, selects the amount of time needed, and clicks "Start Parking" to begin the session.
