The Connecticut Women's Conference Seeks Mary Jones' Believe Team Make-Over Entries and CWA Woman of Distinction Award Nominations
SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn., Jan. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Connecticut Women's Alliance (CWA) is seeking award nominations as well as Believe Team Make-Over entries in conjunction with its first annual Connecticut Women's Conference on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the Farmington Marriott.
As an organization that seeks to support the advancement of women and girls through educational programming and events, the CWA will be selecting one lucky woman as the recipient of a Believe Team Make-Over with a big reveal at the conference. In addition, the CWA will honor a woman that embodies its values with The CWA Woman of Distinction Award.
Believe Team Make-Over
In partnership with Mary Jones' Believe Team, the CWA is offering the winner the following complimentary services valued at over $1,400: four weeks of personal training and group fitness classes provided by Carolyn Phillips, Fitness Expert, Owner of Fit Behavior in Rocky Hill; four private life coaching sessions provided by Marge Piccini, Success Coach; 90-minutes of personal shopping and styling session provided by Debbie Wright, Style Expert, Owner of Project Closet; hair makeover provided by Karen Roche, Hair Stylist, Owner of The KUR in West Hartford; makeup application and photo session provided by Anya Products in Hartford; and, as an added benefit, an Investment review and plan provided by Sylvia Guinan, Financial Advisor, Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC in Essex.

The CWA Board is accepting nominations for The CWA Woman of Distinction Award through March 1, 2011. The honoree should exemplify what it means to show great courage and determination while supporting the advancement of women and/or girls in the area of her focus. She lives with purpose and passion in all that she does and is committed to defining success for herself and the women and girls she supports. Please include examples of her work, community service and/or volunteer work.
