
The Connell Group Hires Brian Smith as Vice President to Broaden Innovation Offerings and Scope of Client Services
UPPER SADDLE RIVER, N.J., July 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Connell Group, a growth-stage market research consultancy dedicated to bridging the gap between market research and brand strategy, announced that Brian Smith has joined the organization as Vice President for Strategic Insights and Consulting in an effort to meet increasing client demand.

Smith comes to Connell most recently from Nielsen, where he was Vice President and led the practice areas for marketing mix and pricing analytics in North America. He began his career at Procter & Gamble, working in market research with the Food, Beverage, and Oral Care businesses and leading the commercial team for the launch of Crest WhiteStrips. Subsequently, he held strategy and insights roles at Medsite.com, Interbrand, as well as Nielsen units BASES and The Cambridge Group.
In addition to leading key client relationships and projects, Smith will establish The Connell Group's Chicago office and build scalable processes and methodologies for the firm's clients.
