The Cordish Companies Launches Live! Casino Massachusetts Website And Facebook Page As Referendum Date Approaches

BALTIMORE, July 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- In preparation for the voter referendum on September 24, 2013, The Cordish Companies have launched a new website and Facebook page dedicated to the proposed $200 million Live! Casino Massachusetts project.

The website, which recently launched at www.livecasinomass.com, features artist renderings of the casino entertainment destination, a basic overview and FAQs about the project, highlights of community impact, workplace diversity and vendor registration information, a media center, and a dedicated page for information about The Cordish Companies, including a corporate background video. Live! Casino Massachusetts will be a $200 million world-class casino entertainment destination, featuring 1,250 of the latest state-of-the art slot machines and electronic table games, nationally-acclaimed and local restaurant brands, and a live entertainment venue. The Project, which is proposed for a site located on Jungle Road, off I-190 and Route 117, in Leominster, MA, will generate well over 1,000 jobs and contribute millions of dollars in local and state tax revenue.

The Cordish Companies currently has a host agreement in place with the City of Leominster. If the referendum passes, Cordish will take the next step in its bid for the sole Category 2 gaming license in the Commonwealth and present a final plan to the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.
