Once upon a time as a teenager I saw a pool table and that planted a deep rooted interest. I remember going into pool rooms but was NEVER invited to join in and take a lesson or anything. Not welcome was the norm. Over the years my parents put in a pool table and I owned them in my homes as an adult. I bought a book and would practice some, but never was aware of any organization or better players. I was in little league baseball, football, bowling, guitar lessons, 4-H, but never even heard of organized pool. WHY?
In 1985 I was asked if I played in a pool league. "That was the moment." The ahha moment and. What did you say? There was a serious pool world, but all underground. Not public. Why? That seed saw the sun and stated growing into an uncontrollable passion to this day.  The door was opened. 
Then joining my first pool league, making room at my house for a new pool table, buying my first McDermott cue and case and searching out an instructor (Babe Thompson) was a top priority. 
After a couple of short years of extreme study and practice, my playing enjoyment  passion turned to seeing the organization problems and opportunities grew into a business of organizing and making products more than playing.
Leagues of 4 or 5 games a week and tournaments of 2-3 matches before elimination were hard to satisfy playing interest. I kept practicing. A family and job kept pool competition to a minimum.
The next turning point was after getting good enough to make it 4-5 matches before elimination in blind draw brackets at the Golden 8-Ball, now "oh man"  it took 4-5 hours to play in a tournament. A real deal breaker. 11 pm was too late for pool. 4 matches in 3-4 hours, mostly waiting. There has to be a better way to play more pool and enjoy this great colorful activity without all the unnecessary restrictions.  
Here we are today...

The entry cost for a typical event is only $9.95 and you can play up to 10 matches 50 games of pool per event. Compare this to 2-3 matches in a typical tournament. All the players in an event are ranked by games won until the closing date. Challenge the registered players in your event or challenge and introduce new players into the event. There is a performance rating and a handicap to keep the matches fair and allows you to track your true performance. This is the only pool competition where you can play when you want and as much as you want. Every game you play accumulates into more and more benefits and a lifetime of statistical records.
