The Deal's Amanda Levin Wins Front Page Award from The Newswomen's Club of New York

Levin's story broke news in June that Louisiana power utility Cleco Corp. had received an unsolicited bid and that in response their board voted to launch a sale process. After Levin's article was published, Cleco issued a press release confirming that it had received indications of interest with respect to a strategic transaction. Levin's article helped bring this critical information to light for shareholders.
