The Diabetic Shoes HuB is partnering with Soles4Souls to provide shoes to people in need

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., July 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Diabetic Shoes HuB is teaming up with Soles4Souls, a charity based in Nashville, TN. The online therapeutic shoes store, headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, chose Soles4Souls as its charity of choice to make a difference by spreading foot health awareness and raising donations to provide shoes to people in need around the world.

Beginning August 1, 2012, customers will be able to support this cause just by shopping at Diabetic Shoes HuB. For every order over $99, the company will donate $1 from the purchase to provide someone in need with a pair of shoes. Customers will also have the opportunity to donate a dollar amount through Diabetic Shoes HuB that will be matched $1 for $1 with all proceeds going directly to Soles4Souls. Every dollar donated allows Soles4Souls to provide one pair of shoes to someone in need.

With more than an estimated 300 million children worldwide who do not have access to adequate footwear, the chances of developing life threatening diseases and infections are significantly increased. Proper footwear not only makes walking and running easier, it is necessary to protect against the spread of diseases, infections and parasites.

After speaking with Soles4Souls at a conference in 2011, the owners of Diabetic Shoes HuB have been advocates of the charity's mission and looked for opportunities to work closely with the organization.
